(Southbound I-238; San Lorenzo, CA)
Interstate 238, the only three-digit Interstate in America without a parent interstate, is the northern continuation of California State Route 238. Although the entire routing of I-238 gets posted as "north-south" (...thus, complimenting its sister-route's orientation), it geographically travels east-west until its pending junction with the Nimitz Frwy--from which point, the route starts bending slightly towards the northwest.
